I believe the k1 thou had 320mm front discs and six piston regular calipers and the k3-k4 had 300mm discs with four piston radial calipers.

Apparently, my XJR can be made much, much faster by removing the dickhead rider (me) and replacing it with a motorcyclist.

No Ta, I have plenty of my own, though mine are meant to keep me plumbing unblocked and me ticker tocking. I even have one of those ridiculous little boxes with compartments for each day of the week.

All that remains to be done is for one of my kids to have kids of their own and the transformation will be complete...........

    I will be Grandad.

ANyone know if the 18 inch wheels of a XJ650 would bolt up on a XV750? Both have shaft drive and look similar....

    Yes.

You can either fit the smaller discs from the later model, or have some 10mm spacers made to space the calipers out a bit (and buy longer bolts!)

You might need to use different bars because of the different machining on the forks between the clamps.

Suzuki are the best for interchangeability of parts

for instance a GSXR750 early slabside set of downpipes are the same port spacing as a GS1000 so can be made to fit.

headstocks are the same on a lot of bikes too

    loads of useful tips here

So will any suzuki front brake calipers fit onto the front end of a 1985 RG250 Gamma?
