Found a bung leg down at the local op shop that looks about your size Woodsie, does that suit the basic tone of your thread?

    Jesus...
2003 SV650 with 03 GSXR750 forks & brake calipers, GSXR1000 front disks & guard, 2004 600 master cylinder, steering damper, handlebars & shock. Woodcraft rearsets for a 2004 600. Rear wheel, disk & sprocket from CBR600F3. Bikini fairing for a Monster S4R. Throttle assembly from a pocket bike.

Oh yeah, the compression valves in the forks are from a CBR600F4, and the springs are from a 2004 R1, spacers by Bunnings. Dunno what the rear spring is from, we found it on a back shelf at Promecha. Think the bits holding it on are from a Honda of some sort. The speedo pickup is from a GSXR, but mounted on the back wheel instead of the countershaft sprocket.

Mirrors are generic $10 things from Mick Hone.

Haven't touched the motor, but apparently 'Busa pistons drop straight in :)

And it's his forks that made their way onto my bike, so a 81 cb750 with 03 sv650 forks (with heavy springs to cope with the extra 40 odd kg), front wheel, brakes, handlebars, generic mirror, ZZR250 clutch lever, mount and cable, R1 yoshimura exhaust, Ikon shocks, SV rear wheel to go on soon. might swap the motor for a cb900 motor, or something different too, lighter and skinnier would be good.

'88 FZR 1000 barrels and pistons onto '88 FZ750 cases and conrods.

Makes for a very torquey 911cc FZ.
(confused the feck out of the WA rego people when they saw 989cc on the block yet the engine number was unchanged.

Rightio then, I thought we were only listing "bolt on" mods.

Here's the rest for the FZ which were a bit more than just bolt on:

    Wheels - '95 CBR600 F3 17x3.5 & 17x5.0 with 120/70 & 160 /60 Diablos
(for those young 'uns out there stock was 16x2.75 & 18x3.0 with 120/80 & 130/80 cross plies)

Brakes - Front, 296 mm VTR 1000 rotors, FZR 400 4 pot calipers on custom brackets, braided lines, 14mm master cylinder from FZR 250
Rear, '95 CBR 600 rotor and caliper on custom bracket, braided line

Suspension - Front, Racetech 0.95kg/mm springs with Racetech emulators
Rear, Hagon monoshock with custom made linkages to restore some ride height after the change from 130/80/18 to 160/60/17

Engine / Tranny - As previously mentioned, FZR 1000 pistons installed on
FZ750 rods, FZR1000 cylinder block sandwiched between FZ750 cases and head. Barnett FZR1000 HD clutch springs. D&D Carbon Fibre zorst pipe(Megacycle alloy post high side), Gearing changed from 16:44 to 17:42
Radiator recored with more tubes / finning to keep the bastard cool.

Sigma push bike speedo seeing how the CBR front wheel has no cable drive assy.

And the best thing is most people can't pick the mods :-$

And when I feel like going for a hoon, there's always the option of installing the short fairings ('85/'86) and the Renthals on the modified triple clamp

This aint gonna work - who's gonna read the entire thread in the hope that (for example) someone has tried a gsxr750 sidestand on an aprilia sl1000.

What I'm gettin at is they'll just post a thread asking if anyone has a fix for an italian sucide sidestand.

And yes they do fix the problem.

FZR1000 brake lever will fit on a TT600. Um, K1 GSXR600/750 rear sprockets also
