Good thinking Amazingly, I used the exact same tool to pinch the throttle cable on my Virago yesterday when it snapped I slackened off the nut of the tool, place the cable between the two halves and tightened the nut, leaving me with a throttle handle. Got me home, but everybody should try a directly operated throttle once - you will be shocked how little pull movement is required for a lot of throttle action.
Bloody postie bike, thats all it deserves.
